My spacious room was pleasantly clean, featuring all the essentials you might need, including a flat-screen TV and a cozy sitting area. The immaculately maintained common areas echoed the dedication of the hardworking staff; A special shoutout to the gentleman tirelessly clearing snow. Conveniently situated near the water, it's hard to overlook the lovely sunsets. I appreciated the complimentary laundry facilities—it added to the convenience of my stay. Check-in was seamless, and the proximity to my conference location was ideal. With free Wi-Fi in public areas and a great atmosphere that made me feel safe, the Carey Centre balances luxury with practicality well. It's an excellent value option for those visiting UBC, and I would consider returning.
